Microsoft launching new TV service

In order to compete with Apple's iTV and Google TV, services anounced earlier, Microsoft is entering the Internet TV arena which looks every time more competitive and promising.

Heavy competition drives Fujitso - Toshiba merger in mobile phone market

Aiming to become the leading supplier in Japan, the merger is to be completed by October 1, 2010. So far, the two companies hace been supplying phones that are re-branded by others. 

Based on the state of the japanese economy, more mergers like this one are expected.
