It rained and poured over Amazon Cloud

One of the most critical issues in deploying a large scale cloud is that a relatively minor configuration bug could impact not just one computer but the whole network in that particular cloud. This is, to a certain extent, what happened this week to Amazon Web Services cloud in an incident the company is blaming on an error by a tech person, which
resulted from a configuration fault in a scheduled network update that could have been prevented with the use of a few lines of logic code. Enterprise clouds need to be error resistant and well documented in order to be a reliable infrastructure option, and so as to prevent disasters like this one from occurring.
